Neriah the Sea Witch

Handmade Sea Witch sculpture:
This is " Neriah " and her story:
This beautiful biblical name means “light” or “lamp of the Lord,”
Neriah is a benevolent Sea Witch that watches over seafarers. She travels to and fro over the ocean waters watching for vessels that may be in danger. She uses her lantern to guide ships to safety. When she's not saving ships from danger, she also helps humans that may have drifted too far out in the ocean during a late night swim or nighttime beachcombers that may have lost their way. She will magically appear with her lantern and help them find their way back to safety.
Each sculpture is a unique mixed media work of art using fabrics, and natural elements collected from my local beach. She stands approx 24 inches tall. I use a fabric hardener product to produce the sculptured effect. This sculpture has been sealed with a wax-based varnish and she is able to be outside if you desire. Her lighted staff is solar powered and the light part is removable so that it can be charged by sunlight.
